Meet Tahiyya Martin, LCMHC, LPC
Licensed Therapist | Board-Certified Sexologist | Doctoral Student in Clinical Sexology | Somatic Practitioner | Educator | Creator of Sacred Erotic Integration™

Tahiyya Martin is a licensed therapist, board-certified sexologist, somatic practitioner, and educator whose work explores the lasting effects of trauma and the ways our experiences shape our relationships with ourselves, our bodies, and others. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Sexology at MSTI, furthering her commitment to the study of sexuality, sexual wellbeing, and the intersections of trauma, embodiment, and relational connection.
Her clinical work centers on helping women, particularly BIPOC women, navigate the ongoing effects of childhood and attachment wounds, sexual trauma, grief, shame, and relational experiences that continue to influence their emotional well-being, sense of self, and capacity for connection.
Tahiyya recognizes that the impact of trauma does not always end when an experience is over. Its effects may continue to surface in our relationships, emotional responses, boundaries, and experiences of intimacy and sexuality. Her work helps clients explore these patterns, understand their origins, and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others.
Drawing from somatic psychology, attachment and developmental perspectives, parts-informed approaches, and relational work, Tahiyya takes an integrative, trauma-informed, and body-centered approach to healing. She believes meaningful change involves more than understanding our experiences intellectually; it also involves developing a deeper connection with our emotions, bodies, relationships, and sense of self.
Beyond her clinical practice, Tahiyya is the creator of Sacred Erotic Integration™ (SEI), an integrative framework informed by trauma research, attachment and developmental psychology, inner child healing, grief integration, somatic psychology, sexual wellbeing, embodiment, and ritual-based meaning-making practices.
As an educator, Tahiyya is committed to expanding conversations about sexuality, pleasure, and empowerment, particularly within BIPOC communities. She is the founder of She Heals Integrative Wellness Center, an educational and wellness initiative centering pleasure, empowerment, and reclamation for BIPOC women and men. Through her broader work, she creates opportunities for individuals to explore their relationships with their bodies, sexuality, desires, and personal agency beyond the limitations of shame and cultural conditioning.
Through her clinical practice and educational work, Tahiyya is committed to supporting deeper self-understanding, meaningful connection, and the reclamation of aspects of ourselves that may have been silenced, disconnected, or misunderstood.
She approaches her work with intention, cultural awareness, and a commitment to creating space for meaningful healing.
