Therapy Services
Understanding the Past. Reconnecting With Yourself. Creating Change.
Therapy at She Heals Journey is a collaborative process designed to help you explore the experiences that have shaped you and understand how they may continue to influence your present life.
We provide individual therapy for women, particularly BIPOC women, and couples therapy for partners navigating relational challenges, grief, the lasting effects of trauma, and concerns related to emotional connection, intimacy, and sexual wellbeing.
Our work offers space to deepen your understanding of yourself and your relationships while developing new ways of responding to familiar patterns and moving toward meaningful change.
Areas We Support

We support women and couples navigating experiences that can affect how they understand themselves, relate to others, and move through life.
Trauma and Early Relational Wounds
Earlier experiences can shape how we see ourselves, respond to others, and navigate relationships. We help clients explore childhood wounds, attachment concerns, and the lasting effects of trauma while developing a deeper understanding of patterns that may continue to influence their present lives.
Sexual Trauma and Sexual Wellbeing
Sexual experiences can affect our relationship with our bodies, our boundaries, our sense of safety, and our ability to experience intimacy. We support clients navigating sexual trauma, shame, and concerns related to intimacy and sexual wellbeing, with attention to each person’s experiences, needs, and pace.
Grief, Loss, and Life Transitions
Grief can involve more than the death of a loved one. We may also grieve relationships, lost opportunities, changes in identity, or experiences we needed but never received. Therapy provides space to process these losses, explore their impact, and navigate change with greater self-compassion.
Relationships, Attachment, and Intimacy
Our experiences can influence how we approach closeness, trust, conflict, and emotional vulnerability. We help clients explore recurring relational patterns, better understand their needs, strengthen boundaries, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
For couples, this work may include navigating betrayal, repairing relational injuries, addressing emotional and erotic disconnection, and rebuilding trust and connection.
Emotional and Bodily Disconnection
Sometimes, we become so accustomed to meeting expectations, managing responsibilities, or protecting ourselves that it becomes difficult to recognize our own emotions and needs.
We support clients in developing greater awareness of their internal experiences, reconnecting with their bodies, and exploring what it means to feel more present and connected to themselves.
How Therapy Works
Our approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and body-centered.
We recognize that understanding your experiences is important, but insight alone does not always create the changes you want to experience in your life. The ways we respond emotionally, relate to others, and experience our bodies may be influenced by earlier experiences, learned patterns, and the ways we have adapted to protect ourselves.
Therapy may incorporate somatic awareness, parts-informed approaches, inner child exploration, and relational work to help you explore these patterns and develop a deeper understanding of your emotional responses, needs, and relationships.
Our work is collaborative and paced with care. We honor your lived experience while supporting you in building greater self-awareness, emotional connection, and new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Healing is not a linear process, and there is no single path that works for everyone.
Who We Serve
She Heals Journey welcomes women from all backgrounds, with a particular commitment to supporting BIPOC women navigating the lasting effects of difficult experiences, relational wounds, grief, and challenges with emotional connection, intimacy, and sexual wellbeing.
We also work with couples seeking support with communication, trust, relational repair, and emotional and erotic reconnection. This may include couples navigating betrayal, recurring conflict, disconnection, or challenges understanding one another’s emotional and relational needs.
You do not need to have all the answers or fully understand what you are experiencing before beginning therapy. Whether you are starting to recognize familiar patterns or are ready to explore them more deeply, therapy offers space to approach that work with intention, curiosity, and support.
